Over 12 inches of ice + several inches of snow = spectacular sculptures and fun for the whole family.

Friday Jan. 12

Sculptures begin applications available below or at the Bristlecone Convention Center 150 Sixth St. due by 5:00 PM


Saturday Jan. 13

Sledding, ice fishing, bowling and golf available all day

4:30 PM Fireworks Express leaves the depot. Tickets available now at or866-407-8326

6:00 PM Approximate fireworks launch time-west end of town


Sunday Jan. 14

Entry into the park is $10.00/vehicle

Sledding, ice fishing, bowling and golf available all day

9:00 AM Horseshoe tournament registration begins

11:00 AM Tournament begins

Concessions open

3:00 PM Sculptures must be complete and judging begins

6:00 PM Fireworks on the Lake


All sculptures must be completed by 3 p.m. on Sunday with the winners announced that evening at 6 p.m. right before the fireworks show. The first prize winner will receive a grand prize of $1,000. Second place will receive $500 and third place $250.

Gather around bonfires with new found friends and reminisce on the events of the weekend as you make plans for next year. The crystal clear air will erupt with vibrant colors and the canyon walls will once again echo as this unique fireworks show lights the sky.


Cave Lake is located eight miles south of Ely on U.S. 93, turning onto Success Summit road (State route 486) and continuing east for seven miles.
