Activities

White Pine County offers activities for all ages and interests. Community recreational facilities include an 18-hole golf course, neighborhood parks, an "ole swimming hole" natural warm springs fed pond in McGill, indoor and outdoor archery ranges, shooting sports complex, and groomed cross country ski trails. Young people enjoy Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, Little League baseball, softball, Youth Soccer, Junior Jazz Basketball, and a summer youth recreation program. Adults can participate in bowling and softball leagues, fitness programs, civic groups, special interest clubs, or volunteer to help run the City's vintage steam locomotive.

Throughout the year special events include horse shows, the County Fair, Arts In The Park, golf and softball tournaments, car and motorcycle races.
